I have clinical experience in applied behavioral analysis, working with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. I also have over two years of experience working in the field of addiction and continue to further my experience working with children, adolescents and adults in the field of mental health. I have a passion for helping people make sense and heal from past trauma and severe life stressors. My goal as a therapist is to help you create healthy perceptions of yourself and make meaningful changes that create your quality world. Theoretical Orientation My theoretical approach to therapy is one that is eclectic, consisting of cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and reality therapy. All humans seek to fulfill their need for safety, belongingness, power, freedom, and joy which shapes their quality world. Past negative experiences could shape maladaptive ways of dealing with stressors.
